After downloading my zipped crc files you need to extract the 'BD-1.47nostart.crc' file (since you have the latest patch). As described above, if you installed the game to other than the default folder you would need to open the crc file in Wordpad (for example) and do a search and replace to change all the instances of the default path to the actual path.

Next, run Filecheck and switch to the 'Verify' tab. Click on the '...' button beside the 'CRC File' text box, and browse to where you extracted (and possibly edited) the crc file, then open it. After you click on the 'Verify' button, the program will go through my crc file, look for each of the listed files at the same location on your computer, calculate the CRC-32 value of each file it finds and then compare it to the value saved in the crc file. Any differences are then displayed, which may or may not be a problem.


Since you re-installed after the system restore, though, I'd suspect a problem with the system more than a missing or corrupt game file.
