system restore does change SOME files.... i must admit that i have not checked if it changes any of the BD files.... (maybe some of the config files).... unfortunately i can only check that tomorrow... since my computer has just been upgraded... (new MB with different chipset)... so fresh installation of Windows... and all the added agravation of restoring data and programs....
If what i understand is correct.... there may be some mixup with the "world" file.... since that is the file that remembers your progress....
