The file jswmidin.sys is not associated with either DD or BD (nor is it present on my c: drive). DD does not install anything outside of its own folder (aside from a registry entry so patches can find the install path). BD installs Starforce copy protection drivers, but I'm pretty sure that is it except for its own folder and a registry entry.
The task manager program appears to be right about the potential danger, according to a quick Google search (
see here). I'd run a virus scan to make sure the task manager completely quarantined it. As for DD, there is a file verification procedure in the
troubleshooting tips topic, so you can make sure the game has not been infected.
