I think this game has some huge potential. Personally i think it will be able to kick oblivions [nocando]. Maybe not on sale numbers, but really if you look at the screens and trailers, dmn, that game's gonna rock!
For screens and info you can look on gamespot, for the trailer you can better do a search on google for the HD.
What y'all think about it?

Oblivion is an open ended single player RPG, this is a more straightlined actionRPG/fantasyFPSRPG with multiplayer possabilities, theyre 2 completely differant games. HArd to compare.

To bad you need to choose a class for multiplayer. its kinda strange, the singleplayer is whitout 'classes', while you NEED to choose a class in multiplayer
EDIT: forgot the last part, added it now

Why ? Divinity had no classes either.
Personally, I'm rather against classes and for a classless system.

yeah, gothic 3 looks amazing, I liked the second one(and only one i played), gothic 2 NOTR makes it even harder, anyways hopefully gothic 3 wil be better than oblivion and include some kind of construction set, oblivion was a huge disapointment for me

well, Dark Messiah has been released. anyone played the demo yet? maybe i buy the game (if it dont costs to much). sure looks cool with those twin daggers and it's one of the few games where you actually can use staves as weapons.

hmm played the Demo for exactly 5 minutes and promptly un-installed it, Reason ... it is mainly K/B driven with some really weird button combinations (guessing that in the full game you will be able to set control keys) but no thanks not for me

I've played some Dark Messiah, It has a nice combat system, you define your own style, can choose anything from all 'classes' as skills etc... It's very good for an action rpg, especially the way you can use your enviroment well. Especiall if you aim at an enemy with your bow, but you miss accidently cutting the rope holding up the crystal light wich on its turn knocks that enemy still poundering on what just flew by, of its feet. On story etc I can't comment haven't advanced enough yet to tell.
It's one of these days...

well, just bought it and played it until it crashed during the 'necromancers attack city'-movie, pretty nice, it's very realistic. I had some trouble aiming for the different bodyparts, such as the head to cut it off, or the arm to disarm your opponent, but i like it so far. only problem i encountered is that the intromovies and cutscenes (not the ingame ones, but the other ones) are not showing, i can only hear them.

I downloaded the demo and played it some. Here is my review.
Don't like: Can't see the home page website without accepting a cookie.
The demo wants to connect via internet to Ubisoft when you install it, play it, read the readme, etc. I hate that, and have blocked it with my firewall.
It's all FPS perspective and I prefer a 3rd person view.
Like: The sound--nice spooky well done sounds.
Undecided: The graphics the combat

It's meant to be light on story, seems like a 3d diablo hack and slash!
Not saying that's a bad thing, just depends on what you want - my PC would never run it anyway, sooooo....oh here's a game I can play, Di-ab-lo...just passes minimum specs...whoo-hoo!
