I posted that I have been searching for several days. But, since everyone else is still in the camp or sleeping on mountaintops, I'm out of temporal sequence with the rest of the group.

No problem. Just because I'm looking for you doesn't mean you're still away from the group. During my nap, I had a dream, but it isn't necessarily a prophecy or even close to the truth. It's just a dream. The only thing I pinned down was the fact that the rest of the group doesn't know where I am for a few days.

Feel free to return to the group and venture onward. I'll wait for a few story days to pass, then I'll post again.

BG is an imp - he doesn't fly. He 'poofs' and 'foops' teleports from one place to another, inter dimenaional (or is it intra ???).

I could be wrong, but that's how I understood him. And he changes color depending on what he's doing - I okayed colors with him before I saw them.

I think we all need to decide if the nights over and whether we're following Lynn's tracks or not. I don't want to split the group up anymore; but, I don't think I would have been sleeping when a companion had been kidnapped either. I'm ready to go track her!

We have our abilities, but we're just learning how to use them & we don't know how to 'be' a dragon yet.

We may not want to sleep, but right after a dimensional transportation of some kind, we would probably need to. After that though, since most of the party is some flavor of non or half human we can probably go longer without sleep.

As the cleric I'll probably hold my character back and let you fighters and mages and whatnot deal with problems (except when the battle rage comes over me via Nero). That way I'll always be able to heal.

what does happen when i make a post using html? yeah we are first lvl, so how do we gain exp? by training amongst eachother as well?

Hmmm, well we are just going to have to allow ourselves to get better gradually, rather than having or listing or even using all of our abilities at once. Or maybe we can use our abilities sporadically. This will be the tricky part because it will be easy for one character to overpower the story.

[color:"yellow"]Hypatia [/color] What about instead of being true first level characters, it's like we have amnesia? We don't know we know how to do things, until we try it but when we do try it we're semi skilled?

Like a bow or your staff. First level fighting would, uh, 'suck' (I know not very ladylike, but what's a girl supposed to say?). We could have a tremendously fun time if we all agreed to be unskilled though - like Kiya burning BG's ear and my boots.

Does everyone agree that we're kind of clutsy (spelling?) or do you want to be skilled and just have to 'remember' it? I can have fun with either way. We just have to agree and everyone play their character that way.

Side note: I think things that are part of our 'nature' sight, smell, shouldn't be controlled by levels - maybe our interpretations of these 'senses' could be what we have to learn?

@DQueene, yes that would be a better way of doing it. The level thing is only to keep people from being the uber warrior right at first and stealing the show as it were.
