Well, at least you get to have choices in Bloodlines. I'm guessing that's why people are giving it better reviews this time around. Redemption is a linear game but as an adventure player, that doesn't bother me too much.

Actually it doesn't bother me at all, I could tell the game was on a set path from the beginning.

After finding ways to manipulate the game mechanics and have my own play style, I have to say I am enjoying Redemption a lot. The story in this game is fantastic and I am glad I don't know anything about White Wolf. This way I can enjoy it for what it is and not look for anymore flaws.

The bottom line is, it's not Diablo and you can't rush through battles with powerful builds. Its not an open end RPG where you can choose many paths, so you might as well enjoy the one you are on. It is more of an adventure, because the game plays out a single linear story.
