This game is so tripping right now! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />
I just made it to modern times 1999 London and it's like I am playing a whole new game. I'm chasing around people with guns, while trying to kill them with a sword. Redemption just totally turned into an action game and it still pretends to be a RPG.
If people thought the combat was bad earlier in the game, it just gets worse. I have dexterity of 90 so my sword is good. Then you come across some flame thrower guy who just stands there between shots and you are swinging at the air. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ROFL.gif" alt="" />
Wow, I can see why people got so upset with this game not offering more. With such wonderful places as Prague and Vienna, the game turns around and completely changes it format. Not even so much because of the new enviroments, but more so because of the new play style.
I wouldn't recommend this game to hardcore RPG players. On the other had if you are an action game player, that knows RPG rules and the basics in creating characters. Redemption definitely brings something new to the table.

Damn, this game keeps giving me mixed emotions about it. Something cool always comes up and I am like, this totally rocks again! Well maybe not totally but it is fun, addicting and I definitely want to finish it.
