What disabilities? (I wonder how to speak bad of him of cause !)
Well, it was probably dumb of me to mention it, because it can sound like a grab for sympathy (which it isn't - it's just that it's been the major thing in my life for the past decade, so it's hard to ignore). He's what they call "intellectually disabled". Severely autistic and so on. Couldn't speak until he was six (by which time you're usually never going to. After doing a lot of work with visual communication cards (which I made with photos)he started to talk. Now he never shuts up - it just doesn't always make a lot of sense. He lives in a world of his own, but it's really rather a nice world - no worries about Iraq or politics, etc. Has great difficulty with an actual conversation, but can operate his computer and scanner well. The best thing from our point of view is that he has a sense of humour and laughs often. Everything else we can work with. I've taught him basic reading and writing and simple maths, so it's all a whole lot brighter that it was ten years ago. And we love a him a lot too.
What I've been up to... Well, I've finnished Gymnasium (age 16-18, more free choices than earlier on), and am now going to university. I'm going to read simulation and computergameenginering (so I'll hopefully work with makeing computergames when I'm done ). I've allso started dabbling a little in pen & paper RPG's (Mutant, heir of ruin or something like that. Think it is Swedish only, at least I didn't find an english site about it). Going forward on the friendsdepartment. Life's improveing .

Excellent! Good luck with the Uni. One of my nephews is doing pretty much the same thing. He's also a games freak and spends all his time hooked up to the net organising other people in different parts of the world who are helping him put games and mods together. I haven't seen any yet, as he lives on the other side of the country, but my brother tells me that they do a good job at it. My nephew is also hoping to work somewhere in the games industry when he's finished his course.
Uni should be a good place for new friends too - more like minded people to meet.
