OK.
I think I've played every possible permutation of Divine Divinity.
It seems like I may have to wait forever for DD2.
So...help??
I'm not an experienced gamer. I'm a role-player from waaa-aay back, so that's why DD appealed to me.
I want a new game, but have NO idea where to start.
I want a single-player (no obnoxious internet personalities to deal with...only my own), role-playing (not just combat or army strategics) PC game that will keep me as amused for as long as DD has.
Some of the ones I've considered - Baldur's Gate, World of Warcraft, Morrowind, Everquest - I haven't actually purchased because I know nothing about them.
Suggestions??
It's either this or I have to actually find a way to sleep until DD2 comes out!!

Welcome to the chat section of the forum. I hope we see more of you.
World of Warcraft and Everquest are not single-player.
I personally hated Morrowind, but I enjoy Oblivion a lot. There is a lot of combat though.
You might like Neverwinter Nights or Baldur's Gate.
Diablo II is a great game, but very weak on RP and heavy on hack and slash.

A lot of games have free demos that can be downloaded. Don't download demos from Gamespot though. This is a good site for demos.
