Games I'd recomend is Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 (even though I didn't like them that much, thought there was too much combat), Planescape:Torment (my all time favorite cRPG), Fallout 1 & 2 and Arcanum. I'd allso like to recomend Vampire The Masqerade: Bloodlines, but if you're not an experienced gamer it MIGHT (note: might) be a bit difficult, due to the over-the-shoulder first person view combat in real time. Combat in VtM:B got a bit messy from time to time... Otherwise it's got great voice acting and some really nice quests. Anyway, these games doesn't rely so heavilly on combat only (though all games contain it's ammount of combat), which you might find nice <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.
