eh, what does gross out mean?

I particularly liked the counterpoint of imagery, contrasting the necessity of action with the internalized emotions that any civilized person would inevitably experience as a result of such an encounter. Please continue the genre in situ per your present eloquent style. Brava!

"Gross out" means that I make them sick from describing something too vividly (like getting sick from seeing and causing so much blood).

pheh finnaly online again, I didn't expect this so forgive me for my idleness.

a quick summary would be welcome. (from friday untill now)

Since Friday:

We found our way through the sewer tunnels to a stairwell leading up to the dungeons of a castle. The first room we entered at the top of the stairs had a two-headed wolf in it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> , but kiya tamed it and named it "Wolfy". <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/silly.gif" alt="" />

Then Nero kicked open the door on the other side of that room when I couldn't pick the lock. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" /> Some big orcs or goblins or something attacked us, one throwing fireballs and the rest had axes (and one crossbow). <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/memad.gif" alt="" />

We fought, but the fireballs caused a lot of smoke and the group got separated for a while. Some of us retreated down the stairs, while the rest went through the door and fought the monsters.

About the same time the battle was being won, BeeGee heard Lynn's voice and found her dungeon cell. He unlocked her door to free her, but she mistook BG for a guard and knocked him out.

Now, the group is licking their wounds, checking the dead monsters, and hopefully coming to find Lynn soon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/up.gif" alt="" />

I have to do the 'family visit' today, ... Don't let me hold you guys up, okay? I just want to search the Beasts after Nero kills the last one. BG knows what I want to find so please let him post before we finish searching everyone. Especially the mage.

[color:"yellow"] Who thinks that Lynn should be an elminster (Baldurs Gate) type character...she wont come along with us but will come in and out of the stroy giving us advice and maybe once in a while some goals...I also think that we should soon find a parchment or something that talks of a great artifact of some kind...that would give us a goal then we could play it like a series and each episode come closer to understanding what exactly it is and what it can do.... [color:"yellow"]@ALL[/color]I know I'm speaking for all the authors when I say that Lynn is welcome to participate in the story as much or as little as her time and desires dictate.

I think our next quest is obvious: "keep moving" We can't stay here for long, so we should decide to go up and onward, or back and downward. Also, we should talk to lynn to find out what she knows about her captors AND about how/why we got into this world in the first place.

dont forget if we go up we run into...demons...way harder to kill...sneaky little bastards
