I was looking at your Poison Creeper Build and saw that you took Dire wolf to 20 to give the Grizzly extra health. I know against boss monsters they are more or less useless. I was just wondering how did they perform at 20 against normal creatures in the Hell difficulty?
Dire wolf damage is low so I am backing off them now and really pushing on my spells. Again, I was just wondering can Dire wolf stay alive at 20 if you are not worried about their attack damage?
I put the points nto Dire Wolves in order to boost the health of the grizzly. IIRC I mostly used the grizzly and poison creeper to tank. (Well the poison creeper is not exactly a tank, but he sure keeps the heat of you and your grizzly.) Volcano was used to finish off the bosses. I didn't really use the wolves to fight any tough battles for me, though in my guide, I quote someone who did. Incidentally, The Amazon Basin is a great website for DII--lots of great info and nice people there.
