Seems that now that I've started posting, I can't stop. But this is the last, I promise! (I think)

I'd like to see these things added to future Larian RPGs

1. Time - let's have day and night, let's have seasons

2. Weather - and to go with the above, let's have some rain and snow

3. Rest - it's so unrealistic to have to rest only when badly wounded: how about needing rest every 24 or 48 'hours' or taking health and stamina hits?

4. Food - and how about needing to eat once a 'day' or else taking a health hit?

Details like these add hugely to the enjoyment and realism of the gaming experience, imo. For instance, the first RPG I ever played was Knights of Legend (Origin Systems, 1989), and I have to say that for sheer detail it was one of the best ever. Today's RPG designers could do worse than take a look at what Origin managed to fit onto a few 5.25" floppy disks!
