Not needing to eat or rest may be unrealistic, but requiring them could be tedious, depending on how it is implemented. I've played games where there were health penalties if you didn't eat, but rather than add to the realism, it just meant you had to stop by a store once in awhile and buy 99 loaves of bread and 99 pieces of meat for each character.
I couldn't agree more. I'm all for realism, but sometimes it can be a bore. Raze's example is a good one. Same thing goes for getting tired in Baldur's Gate. Realistic, sure, but it resulted in nothing more than clicking the rest button when you didn't feel the need to and/or during inopportune moments.
Don't let our objections stop you from posting suggestions though, rather on the contrary, every idea is welcome. There are some large threads already in which people discuss this kind of thing, so you could post in thise too.
