During my training, I worked in a small company (*very* small !) where PCs were worked with *very* frequently. Just to test out network cards, for example, and formatting harddrives, not to mention installing all kinds of hardware that had to looked into because it seemed perform a "strange behaviour" (we had top find out whether the hardware was faulty or not).

I often wonder how they might cope with xp, that needs to be activated after every bigger modification.

I still don't understand it.
