Larian Studios Forums General Chat Need Help: Ethernet Crossover Cables

Ok heres the deal...

I built a new computer and need to xfer the data (word docs/pics/etc) over to my new computer.

I understand that I can use a crossover cable to do this. My knowledge of networks is well...terrible so I am having a hell of a time getting this to work.

Any advice would be great.
