Larian Studios Forums General Chat strange things happen

There are 2062 user accounts on this forum, who never posted even 1 message!
who are they,where are they, and most important, Why aren't they doing it?

Simple they are just readers and dupe accounts <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

I think a lot of people join any new forum they find automatically in case it has hidden content they cannot see without joining. Others may join meaning to post, then decide it isn't worth it, or to ask a question they suddenly realise they know the answer to. Others will be botched attempts at joining where they put details in they didn't mean to and would prefer to change, or leave something important out.

So there are many possible reasons, as you see. And I'm sure there's a load I've missed <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

A couple people have joined the forum to PM me about a technical problem or question about the file swap or hex edit procedures.

Some forums you must join to be able to use the search function (which is stupid) so they may automatically sign up and then search to find whatever information they were looking for.

yeah, I actually was very good friends with a few people who never posted. I used to just make a nice little personal message to anyone who joined the forum, and alot of them replied back, and we talked for a few days, or even weeks, but they never posted on the forums themselves.
