Sprite - *Ossoi{TR}* initial impressions from the beta were that LOTRO was nothing that MMO players havent seen before..am I missing something or is LOTRO distinctive enough to appeal to seasoned players
Mithril_Miser - Absolutely. We're getting a great response to our open beta, and there's a lot of LOTRO players that are 10+ year MMO vets. LOTRO definitely innovates, with social systems, excellent narrative-based gameplay and, of course, a world based on the best fantasy epic ever written.
Mithril_Miser - But beyond that, the thing that the beta is emphatically telling us that we've crafted a polished, rock-solid world that's ready for the rigors of launch. MMO vets tend to like that too. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />
