The only work-around is through a program called Game Jackal to the best of my knowledge...

The game doesnt remove any copy protection, nor does it bypass the need for an original authentic cd, but it does allow you to create a game-profile that allows you to after the 1st successful load of the game, to pack away your cd and never need it again.

in a nutshell what it does is it "mimics" the code sent back to the copy protection program when you load the game successfully the first time. It then resends those save "responses" to the copy protection system the next time you want to load, which means you dont need the cd again.

I was able to play bd with game jackal on vista..... BUT (and this is a big BUT), it was because my profile was created while still running winxp. and it only worked when i upgraded my os to vista (32 bit version)... when i later did a clean install and then tried to reload BD, i was unable to load the game and SF successfully... and couldnt play it again.
