I have the whole ZoneAlarm suite (don't use the AntiVir ... cause IMHO !avast is better) but after 2 years of free updates & free engines updates I have not had any problems I particularly like the "Game Mode" Feature that works great for sp games (which I play a lot)Have tried AVG was a hassle installing specially after Norton's <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" /> and tried 1 other I can't remember but ZA was by far the easiest to use install and update so ... I am happy with it <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

We use Norton at the office -- the anti-virus, not the suite -- and I'm quite sure my current computer would collapse under the strain of running such a bloated app... But, yeah, I, too, recall the fun days of System Works and all the neat tools!
Since I last posted about this, I've removed Comodo, re-installed Sygate, removed Sygate, and put Comodo back on... Fickle? Who, me?! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
I wouldn't be surprized if ZoneAlarm was my next experiment, though, when another I-can't-sleep-so-maybe-I'll-update-something attack comes on.
