Can anyone tell me what's best? Curse or withering curse? cause when I use curse it seems that the stats of my opponents are being increased instead of decreased and I spend three points on withering curse but monsters only need some spiritual resistance to make the spell totally useless. I feel like this was such a waste.

Curse should drop the target's resistances, and is better than Withering Curse, since it can not be resisted. You should also be able to cast Curse repeatedly to magnify the effect.

Are you quickly following up Curse with a non-physical based attack, to take advantage of the temporary resistance drop?

Do you have Know Creature? At level 5 it will display resistances, so you can check what effect the spells are having.

If you do not save before trying out skills (or it has been too long to just reload a previous save), you can use iZakaroN's SaveEditor (or from Kiya's site, with description) to unlearn them.

So this save editor actually lets you rearrange you skillpoints and stat points already in the game? Or am I not understanding it?

The save editor edits a file in the save folder, so the game does not need to be running, and you need to load (or reload) the save for the changes to take effect. By default it only lets you redistribute stat and skill points that you already have, but you can click a button to allow adding arbitrary values. There is a description of the program on Kiya's site.
