I went into the first Battlefield and after time noticed everyone shifted left and Brain disappeared. So I looked at the patch fix list and found
"Fixed NPC's hopping out of playfield as a result of pressing ALT-TAB"
I installed Beyond Divinity and the 1.49 patch. I didn't install any of the previous patches. My O.S. is Windows 2000.
