As I came back to the group I saw them battling with a large ogre. Flying through the trees I prepared for battle. I was hoping that Dragh was going to take up arms and try and shoot the Orge somewhere it might go down. I pulled out my sword and as I got closer the tattoo over my chest started to glow and heat up. I didn't know why but I felt stronger and more comfortable because of it. I didn't have the time to anaylize the feeling though because I came upon the beast. He didn't see me as I was coming from behind so I decided to strike first. running off of the tree nearest to him I drop kicked him in the back while swinging my sword. I managed to hit him in the shoulder with enough force to make him drop his shield and cut him pretty badly. With the size of this beast he was far from down. I just barely managed to excape his swing as he spun around. Hopefully while he concentrates on me the others can get their licks in.

retreating out of site I saw that Hypatia was down. I went over to help her and by touching her I could tell that she had some broken ribs. I told Kyia to be careful with her and try and retreat to the place that me and Dragh had seen. She needed rest and in time she would be ok. With the aid of some herbs and spells she would be even better. Just please don't spin cycle her Kyia, trying to lighten her spirits just a little bit.

Off I ran to rejoin the battle.

We reengaged on the creature after Lucid had disarmed it. I noticed his amulet and saw it was glowing. "There is something with that amulet." i said to the group. "Thats probably whats been causing his invinsability" Lucid remarked.

"Yeah, yuor right" i resonded "let try and get it off!"

"Kyia get Hypatia out of here now!" i yelled. And we started to attack the monster again.

If I'm right this will work I told myself, I crawled into a tree and started jumping from brench to brench until i was in front of the ogre at the height of his head, He looked in my direction as he may have heard the movement in the trees but he couldn't spot where I was, but i was rather close he should have seen me? I'm not invisbible.

I took my crossbow, and shot one bolt right in the eye, it screamed and reached for his head. He realized he was fighting so he swung his arms trough the air and hit the tree where I was so I fell out, landed before jvb's feet.

The ogre couldn't stand the pain anymore and dropped on his knees grabbing his face again.

This was our chance. I immidiatly chopt of the amulet and Nero and JVB finished of the job with great flashing moves.

Finaly the big su**er went down. Yes, yes, we almost started a party wen suddenly kiya yelled that Hypatia wasnt going to make it.

We all ran to her asap. I quickly took the amulet with me.
I took Hypatias hand in mine and i felt a sadness i hadnt felt since my wife died.

I didnt want her to die, i liked her to much evnthough we dont know eachother well yet. Maybe its because she reminds me of my wife?
I started to cry <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" /> and yelled "No, this is not happening..".

Suddenly i felt my Holy Symbol glowing.... but it wasnt the normal red. NO it was a bride white light. I felt a shock going through my body and the light started to flash. I felt some lif being drained out of me and Hypatia got a shock too. After ten seconds of flashing lights and shocks it stopped.

Hyopatia opend her eyes and looked better. Kiya took a look at her and yelled "Shes back, shes alive!!" We all started to cheer and hugging eachother.

I felt abit dissy, probably from the transfusion of lifeforce. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />How did this happen? I never had this expierience before? Will it happen again?? I dont know. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> But one thing is for sure Hypaitia is back, alive and kicking!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

I said, while being amazed that I came trough this fight unhurt.
"Wouldn't there be some kind of town nearby, a safe place, where we can all hide? Or do you think everyone in this world is after us? kiya, can you show me your mirror plz?"
Kiya came towards me, the mirror in her hands, and wolfy still following her.
"Hmmm lets see, I dont see anything special, No cities or anything.
Lets just decide what way to go, and keep going that way untill we find a road or something.. They do have roads here dont they? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> "

If everyone needs it, me and dragh found a spot to recover.

Amazed that the battle was over as fast as it was I wondered why I felt the way I did. I also wondered if anyone else felt it because it seemed to eminate from my body.

I vote we head for this site they found and eat and rest. We will need to move out fairly soon though the rulers of that castle probably arent to happy, and dont forget we have a bounty on our heads. Lucidity would you lead the way?

I agreed to go to the place for a meal and a nice sleep.
I was still wandering what the amulet was that the ogre was wearing.
It looked pretty normal to me, although i had a huntch it was elven made. Maybe someone else can tell me more about it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />

"ok then, lets follow luc, c'mon lynn, it won't be such a long walk.. Yes I know that you didn't have had to walk for quite a time being captured.. Very well then, I will carry you, but not for long understand!"
lynn hopped on my back and I ran after kiya and the others who were quite a bit away from us already.

"If someone gets tired, you can always sit on my back, apparantely, it takes a really long time for me to get tired"

Not that i was realy that tired, but i could defently use a good night of sleep.
And besides my stomac was realy killing me, i needed to eat something. I reached for my backpack and took a peace of meat out of it. MMMM, that realy is tasty.

"Hé Lucid, do we still have to go far??"I asked "I could use a good rest."

"me 2, I've been carrying lynn for quite a time now..
And she is heavy" I said sarcasticly.
"AUCH <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ouch.gif" alt="" /> " sorry lynn, I was just kidding, no please dont..no not that... AUCH"

"HAHAHAAAA, you go Lynn !!"

Kiya and I were following Lucidity when we came to a small clearing in the dense forest we had been traversing. I pulled out my bed roll and Kiya and I sat down..."Kiya do you think you could start us a fire?" She nodded yes...with that I got up and gathered some wood and stones to make a fire. Once the fire was made we began to rest for the first time in two days. "anyone here good at hunting...we should hold onto this dried food until there is nothing else for us to eat. Dragh you seem good in the woods can you help us out?"

So finaly i arrived at the spot they had found for us. I saw Nero and Kiya there too. I noticed the fire and sat beside it.

It didnt take long for me to fall asleep. (maybe i was too tired afterall) <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" />.

I started to dream about my past. The good days with my wife and son. Suddenly the dream became very awfull, more like a nightmare...

I saw how my wife got killed and had to watch it and couldnt do anything.
When they were dead, i saw someone coming out of the smoke...

It was myself, and i had a very nasty smile on my face. My sword covered in blood (my famelies blood). Now he came after me.....

I pulled out my sword and started to defend myself.

after lynn finally stopped hitting me, I looked at joliekiller, who was peacefully asleep.
Well, peacefully.. when I looked closer I saw tears in his eyes, and then he grabbed his sword and started waving it around. It looked like he was sleepwalking..
"Hey jolie" I yelled, but with no response..
Then I tried throwing little rocks at him, also not resulting in waking him up.
"what is going on here?" I said.

The battle commenced. I hit him alot, but he didnt seem to feel it atall!?
Whenever he hit me it felt like a thousand little knives hit me!
He started to taunt me: "You are responsable for the dead of your family!"
"NO, that is not true!", i responded "I wasnt at home". "Thats what i mean" The other said "You failed to save them, because you had to go on an adventure!"

These word cut through me, i stopped fighting. But he didint and hit me real hard so i fell on the ground bleeding heavyly. He came in to give me the final blow.....

Jolie dropped dead in his sword fumbling and woke up, glaring at me, face and clothes were dripping.
"Sorry, chum, but I hate blood - you were getting a little bit too dramatic", I shrugged my shoulders and grinned. Ahhhhhh, Rinse and Purify, what a nice little helper...

Once we had gotten back to our hiding place I sat down and meditated (still fully alert mind you). I cleared my mind, and saw my self as a young child and I remembered all the training and pain I have had thoughout the years because I didn't have a family. Since this happens every time I meditate I didn't think tiwce but this time my mind came to rest on my golden book. My eyes snapping open I noticed a really wet companion and a few laughing ones.

Not being able to help my self I laughed, and that helped me more than any potion or spell.

After the comotion was over I found my golden book and began to study it...
