I believe it's a teleporter stone, actually. Partially hidden behind some stone at the west side of his house. Or maybe I'm thinking of another quest?
Yep it is a teleporter stone. Inside the place there are some levers.
Sorry i don't remember well everything in the game.
They're kinda the same quest, actually. They're completed at the same place; Pierce's wine shop in Verdistis. You will talk to him and he'll give you permission to look around in his shop, eventually you'll end up in his cellar... The answer is hidden down there.
Have you finished this quest ?
In the cellar, you will meet a familiar character, well hidden.
Then report to Mardaneus.
