I just made level 5 and have 10 attribute points to spend. My current speed is 3. I added one and applied the change. The speed reverted to 3 and the base incremented. This stolen speed point was observed again when adding another point to achieve a speed of 7. These stolen speed points do not occur for the Death Night although like the player the base value continues to increment forever out of reach. I have updated to v1.49 but the in game version indicates v1.470?!

S = Current Speed, B = Next Base | P = Points Applied
S | B | P
3 | 4 | +1
[color:"red"] 3 | 5 | +1
4 | 6 | +1
5 | 7 | +1
6 | 8 | +1
[color:"red"] 6 | 9 | +1
7 | 10 | ...

There are speed bonuses and penalties on different equipment, and the speed listed in the stats reflects this effect (and any skill bonuses, such as from bow/crossbow's Reload Time). The displayed value is rounded down from the modified base speed, so even if your speed is 4.999999 it will be listed as 4.

A total speed penalty of between 23 and 25% would account for your numbers.

It should, though he has less equipment, so on average lower speed penalties. He has one 'missing' point right from the start, due to the speed penalty on his sword (you can un-equip and re-equip the sword to see the listed speed value change by 1).

That is normal. There were no changes to the game itself between the 1.47 and 1.49 patches, so the game's version number was not updated.

When composing a post, there is 'Make post' drop box selector above the text box, which defaults to 'using UBBCode'. If you change this to 'using HTML' or 'using HTML and UBBCode', you can add a table (see HTML Tables).

In general you can quote a post to see how something was done. In the forum, HTML tables need extra spaces and line breaks removed, however, since they result in extra blank lines after the table, which you may not want. This can make them a tad bit harder to figure out.

Thanx Raze. I thought it might be something like that. Is the base change also normal? It continues to increment by one for every point spent on the attribute. I have not noticed this for any other attributes. What is the Base value?

The base value is pretty much the number of points you have put into the stat. If you remove all your equipment, your listed stat values should be the same as your base values (plus any boosts from permanent potions). This should be the same for all the primary stats.
