[color:"orange"]I am definatly getting better drops.
That is possible. Maybe nobody has noticed that before because they have not tried an even point distribution. I think mage builds tend to sacrifice strength to boost intelligence more.
[color:"orange"]There was a post or something about duping weapons. Have not tried that either.
Something about using quicksave.
To copy an item; Spoiler : quick save the game, then drag an item out of your inventory, but not somewhere there is a red X. Without dropping first, quick load the game, then release the mouse button when it starts to load. This will produce a copy of the item on the ground, with the original still in your inventory.
[color:"orange"]I have found some that changes my stats and adds resistance but not one that me any type of magical killing power.
although I have not missed having them either.
I found swords with life/mana drain, lightning damage, deathstrike (stupid spell shakes the screen, though thankfully at level 2 it didn't trigger very frequently) and a few others (only noticed Frost once). I don't think I got anything with extra damage in the catacombs, but I bought a sword from the traveling merchant near the cursed abbey that had stun. This was a good upgrade (for a melee warrior, anyway), and when I replaced that sword I started investing in the passive stun skill.
I primarily looked at base damage for swords, though, then stat boosts. If they had resistance or damage bonuses that was fine, but these were never a deciding factor when comparing swords.
[color:"orange"]Maybe the red dots are on the fourth level.
The forth level of the dungeon is fairly small, with only one creature in it.
