I'm a new player to the game and not all that experienced in RPG's as well. I've been kind of blundering along so please bear with my [nocando] questions. I just noticed I failed the quest to save the two sick guys in the starter area of the game. I did find the magic mirror and have one gem, however when I put them in the healing pool, the healing guy just kept telling me he had no more gems. Huh?
Anyway I headed south to get the escort for the healers and met with Gen Alex. She then gave me some quest to deliver a note to another guy. On the way there I found another fort of some sort and I was entertained to a cut scene where some evil wizard turned all the guards against me! I tried to run away, thief coward that I am, however kept running into a dead end and getting killed rather quickly. My armor is no good and I couldn't find anyone to fix it at the Generals place as well which makes matters worse. Do I need to head back to the castle to trade and get repairs?
I'm really enjoying the game but it seems tough to me. I have a whole bunch of those little round charm things?, but have no idea how to use them. I'm level 9 now and seem to keep running low on health potions and only use magic for the freeze spell that I spent some points on.
Any tips? Maybe start over as a warrior? I picked survivor because I love sneaking around, but could be too tough for me.
