In addition to position, there should also be monitor controls to reduce the display size, so it fits on the screen (there should be buttons or dials somewhere along the bottom front edge of the monitor, usually in the centre... you may have to flip a cover up or down to access the controls). You will probably need to tweak the size and position controls a bit to get the display to fill the screen as much as possible without going over.
