Swen: Ours is a bit of a long story, but I'll try to make it short. I once had a dog, a German shepherd, whose name was Pilar. I thought it was a ridiculous name, but it was the name that he had been given. Since he reacted to Pi, and to Lar, I started calling him Lar, after some kind of house gods the Romans had. I grew very attached to him, and he died just as we started making games. Hence, Larian Studios.
