Hi,
I'm a newbee in playing divine divinity and I'm having difficulty in building up experience points needed for slashing the many monsters in the game.
I've worked my way through the first level of dungeons in beneath the village and killed some skeleton warriors. Though to advance to the next dungeon level I need to get past some skeleton guards (with large axes), though I've killed all skeletons I just can't get past those skeleton guards (only level 3 character). I can't build up more experience to advance in character level since all other foes are just to strong to get past (I've also tried to get past some orcs outside the village without succes).
Can anyone help me out here cause it's very difficult to build up my character unlike in games like diablo where enemies respawn everytime you quit and restart the game. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/puppyeyes.gif" alt="" />

Did you run around town, explore everywhere and talk to everyone? There are several quests you can do there that do not involve any fighting.

A bow and hit and run tactics can help with strong opponents. Meteorstrike can be cast repeatedly very quickly, and has a bit of a stunning effect.

There are some strong orcs south of Aleroth, but if you head east or west and clear around north of the village, there are weaker orcs that are spread out more.
