There's an event in Australia, the
World's Greatest Shave. It's run by the Leukaemia Foundation to fund research in treating and curing Leukaemia. The way they raise money is by inviting people to empathise with leukaemia sufferers: they shave your head. Shavees have people sponsor them for it.
I've haven't had a hair cut in eight years. At it's longest, straight, it was down to the small of my back. Now, I'm deciding to take the plunge and see what I can do. Take a look at what it's like
now. So far I've raised almost AU$750. That's how much people are looking forward to seeing me bald. I'm having it shaved at an Irish pub in Melbourne tonight. They're hosting a show of people being shaved and coloured (and you get a free beer!) I'll post "after" pictures on the weekend.
