Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General can I "un" poison a weapon?

If I want a different weapon as my poison one, or I want to de activate "poison weapon". Is there a way to do this? Or does a particular weapon stay poisoned until you run out. It should only work when you have the skill selected as active.

You need to have Poison Weapon active in order to right click and add poison to a weapon, but AFAIK you do not need to keep it as your secondary skill.

I did not use this skill, so am not sure if the game applies the poison to the specific weapon you have equipped or treats it as a bonus to any equipped weapon until it runs out. To test this, simply poison a weapon, try it once, then switch weapons and see if the poison effect continues.

The poison effect continues on the weapon it was applied to, apparently until the poison supply runs out. I was hoping I could un do that.
