After two years of absence I had the wonderful idea of doing a bit of retrogaming

I started with Age of Kings (atleast that's retro for me) and ended with DD.
Ofcourse, as I expected, DD turned out to be still the wonderful and amazing game as it was at the moment when I first played it. And I enjoy the story even more now. In fact, I'm so obsessed with it that I try to steal every manuscript and book I can find to store them away in my libraby (situated at Joram's) and read them later by candlelight and with a glass of wine during one of my "gathering knowledge and wisdom about Rivellon sessions"
But there's one part of the story I don't understand. When you serve as the Lord Protector in Stormfist Castle and people believe that Janus is the Divine One, they always talk about the fact that the Divine One is sided by a wise advisor and a strong bodyguard. For them, the wise advisor is Elona and the strong bodyguard me, the Lord Protector. But as it turns out that I am eventually the Divine One, no one speaks anymore about that wise advisor and the bodyguard. So, who are they? Or is it just a myth/legend they were talking about?
Also, maybe Zandalor could be the wise advisor but who is the strong bodyguard then?
Or maybe Arhu, the cat, is the advisor and Zandalor the strong bodyguard (strong with magic)?
