Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Disable Seeing Stone Act III

Thank god for walkthroughs. If not for them I wouldn't be playing these type of games at all.
And yet I'm still confused. My walkthrough is from GameFAQS: by Grimwulf.
Anyway, I'm in Act. III trying to disable the Seeing Stone, after completing the Serrick quest
which is to repair a teleporter. I've done that plus other side quests and reported back to Serrick, after which I go back and click on the Seeing Stone to disable it, I still recycle through four or five different locations of where the Wayward Student will be!

East of the church in the temple complex, in the northern part of the graveyard, you can find what you need to complete this quest.

Thanks for the info. I did use the mirrow in front of Serrick's Tower to gain entrance, but I picked it back up. I probably need to leave it on the ground in front of the door. I'll see if that works. Thanks again for your help.
