It had seemed like forever for Jurak to get to the camp and retrieve the sled,
ropes, and rollers. He had been daydreaming of days gone by,
since he had joined up with this group....
but that was whole 'nother story...
WoW! jurak thought to himself, it's like waking up all over again."
Arriving back at the tree site, it looked as if everything was frozen in time,
and just starting to come alive again. The snow was deeper now....
everyone was covered in icicles, and snowflakes...it looked like it had been snowing for days.
Jurak wheeled the sled around to the fallen log, and was positioning it
appropriately aligned, to the angle of the log.
Womble and Yeager wandered over to fetch the ropes from the back of the sled,
while virgo took the rollers and lined them up against the side of the log.
[color:"orange"]"Right then i've fashioned two nice hefty chokers for this
beasty of a tree, but how do we get under it?" [/color]
Womble held up the chokers proudly, and cocked his head sideways!

"DiG! my friends we must...here use these...! [/color]
Yeager reached in his pockets(that were very deep by the way)
and pulled out two hand spades for garden work! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />
[color:"orange"]"Ohhhh Virgo.....!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" /> take this shovel,
and start digging a big enough hole to slip the rope through and get a hold." [/color]
Virgo took the tiny hand shovel and headed for the top of the log.
Womble and Yeager were at the the root of the problem <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" /> near the butt!
but it was really no problem....because the flair on the butt end of this tree,
made it very easy to slip a choker underneath, and through to the other side.
They were done in a quick moment, and took the remaining length of rope and
slung it around the base of the tree that was just beside it, leading the
rest....to the back of the sled.
Jurak grabbed the other hand shovel,
(cuz sometimes....he was really good at shovelling stuff! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" /> )
and he headed to the treetop to help virg..
Now everyone was at the top of the tree kicking dirt,
and uprooting weeds to get a hole made for the rope,
the snow made it a slippery working surface after a few minutes......
and it made for a few good laffs! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
Jurak tought everyone just seemed happy cuz they had something to do.....
there's nothing worse than having nothing to do in the deep dark forest! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
While the rest were fussing at the top of the tree....Jurak "whipped up"
a quick fire, for some warmth.....this place was freezin',
and he wondered why nobody else made a fire while he was gone <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/think.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
[color:"orange"]OK!! That's got it! [/color]
Womble screeched!! Jurak guffawed, Viper laughed,...Yeager farted, and Virgo puked! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
The rope was too short to go around the 2 trees necessary, <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" />
and had to be spliced with a small section of leftover frayed rope.
Now to just jockey the sled into position....
hook up the chokers...
and give a little tug....
