Well, if you played Beyond Divinity you might remember one sequence where you're looking for a crystal fragment in Rivellon (you're in the cursed abbey I believe) and a witch mentions how evil paladins had massacred everyone in Aleroth! \:\( You do get to take revenge on them though (kind of). There was one other instance, too, where you were revisiting the farmlands, and they were all flooded and filled with lizard people. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing some familiar locations (and maybe faces) too, but of course, it should be different enough to not feel too 'samey.'
Paladins are humans right? So every human shall die, including me.
