She smiled at me, her pretty eyes were sprankling "Hey JvB, would you mind joining me for a while, while I'm going home?"

It took a while before I was able to react, she was really pretty, and she reminded me of someone.. Someone I had known a long time ago, maybe in a past life or something..

"No I wouldn't mind I guess, but ehm.. How did you get to know my name?" I answered finally, looking down a bit, cause everytime I looked into her eyes I started to blush.

"Silly you, offcourse I know your name, you think I wouldn't know a pretty boys name? By the way, mine is ashley"
I just continued looking at the ground, pretending like there was something special going on down there.

"Come on you silly, jump up on my pet dragons back"
And so I did, and together we flew away towards wherever she was going to lead me..

we flew for many miles into the mountains of kreagor. kreagor was the archaic land of the dragon and subject to many a ledgend. we landed just on the west side of the volcanos that had given birth to many of the fire dragons. we climbed the sheer face of the volcano and eventually arrived at the top. a small rope bridge lead us to a shrine in the cente of the dormant volcano on a large marble cylindrical platform. i noticed the strange colour of the platform and the visible impossibility of its shape which to my knowledge defied the laws of physics. we stood on the platform gazing into each others eyes and time seemed to stand still. her eyes burned brighter than the volcano with passion. she spoke. she said "i have brought you too this place for a reason. i have long lived and worked side by side with the dragons of these volcanos. i have a certain mystic aura that seems to tame them to my will. i beleive it has something to do with this....." she took from her purse a small perfectly spherical stone about 5 cm in diameter. it had ruinic symbols engraved on it, but they were hard to see. "do you know what these symbols mean?" she said. "no" i replied. "these symbols mean dragost. this roughly translates to dragon people." "but who are these people?" i hastely added. "they are the true ancients of this land and were created during the time of wonders also known as the conception of matter. this is the era when the gods first created living things. they created first the sea, then the land and the grass. shortly followed the trees and mountains and two single dragons know as dragoth and drake. the gods enfused the dragons with some of their own powers and were then able to ascend to the heavens. the dragons were left to decide what other creatures were to be created, and they decided to create a humanoid image of them selves called the dragost. drake and dragoth were pleased with their civilisation and all was good for a while. the dragost lived peacefully side by side and gathered knowledge from the wise dragons. soon some dragost people realised that the dragons had created them and passed on powers similar to them. the dragost elite (intelectuals) began to create their own civilisations and new life forms were made in a matter of days. amongst the new life forms were humans, elves and drawves. these animals scared the land and reproduced wildley destroying the land the gods had created for them. the dragons had no choice but to extend the land mass and idoly watch by as the gods had ordered them too. long years passed and the dragons and dragost left what we know as Iselofia the home of the humans to a new land know as kreagor. the humans and other humaoids known as elves and drwaves, lead their lives in unknowing of their creators and generations passed and the realitys became ledgends and the ledgends became myth and so on. now this stone which i hold in my hand is the true soul of the dragost and within it is the power to create anything one desires." i said "well what has this to do with me?" she replied "you, are the only living decendant of the dragost people. you alone have the power to destroy the stones and stop the possible evil in the land from obtaining it. its magic energies i give to you." "but..........." i cried. "there's no buts about it....... this stone and the only other one there is must be destroyed." she added. "but" i repeated. "you must take this stone and destroy it! its magics must not fall into the hands of evil! go! find the other stone and together bind them and this will destroy both stones and the world will be at debt to you." "i thought to my self why me? this was exactly what i didn't need......."

I was tired of being alone. My friends were all gone, my energy and will to pursue this fight dissapating into emotional staleness. Perhaps Kiya had been right, maybe this wasnt our war at all. After all what buisiness had I in helping save a world I didnt even know the name of. Since I had come to this world I had maybe two brief moments of peace. Things were not the same as they had been before, my anchor the source of my strength was gone. Allies...I could not continue alone. As I was wandered the paths of the lonely forest just off of the ocean these thoughts coursed through my mind. I had thought that I was bound to help fight this war...but kiya was right, violence will not solve this, since I had come I had sown nothing but violence, even on my friends I could still remember the pain that I saw in her face as I had tried to kill her, the betrayl that I had been the offensor of.

Walking into a clearing I saw a single rose it was suspended three feet off the ground by a single stem with only two leaves. It was bathed in the glow of a warm yellow light that seemed unnatural in the gloom of the forest. Walking up to the rose I could not help but stare. The longer I looked at it the more I could not convince myself to look away. As I continued to look vacantly into the rose it began to open up, in the center were flicks of light. They danced with one another, it was as if i were travelling thru the stars. Everything around me became dark and faded to nothingness. The yellow lights continued their dance getting faster and faster until all that I could see were lines crossing in and around one another. Suddenly the lines converged in one spot thousands of stars combining for one brief moment then in a burst of sound and light I was engulfed in the warmth of peacful slumber.

I awoke with a head pounding like I could not remeber ever feeling before. As I sat up the world was spinning and something was stuck to my face. Blurry eyed and groggy I reached up to pull the offending article away from my face...a tie, it was striped. As i came to my senses I looked around and found myself on a park bench, in a rose garden. "Wow, last night must have been Crrrrazy" I muttered to myself. Walking along the little gravel path I reached my hand into my pocket and found a marble, it was no bigger in diameter than a quarter but it was dark and black and within...thousands of little yellow lights

It didn't feel natural actually, flying trough the air, but not being the one flying..
ashley turned her head around, and saw my eyes, and as if she could read them, she said "you want to fly yourself don't you?"
Determined not to tell her about my dragon form, I replied, "Offcourse, all kids want to fly, but sadly this is the best it gets."
She started laughing whole heartidly, the tears even came from her eyes; "You don't have to lie to me JvB, I know all about young fire dragons" She didn't let her eyes of me as she whiped her last laughing tears out of her eyes.
"I didn't introduce myself correctly I guess," she continued, "I am also the daughter of the greatest dragon tamer ever lived, may he rest in piece. He read a lot of books about dragons and half dragons, like you.. And he believed heavily in the prophecies written in that books.
The prophecy told about a small group of venturers that would emerge from another world, and come together here, to save this one.
One of them, JvB, was you, and the others are your friends.
My fathers dying wish was that I'd track you down, and help you master your dragon form, so you could really help saving this world. And so that I will; I will take you to my home, other dragons and half dragons live there to, and I will teach you anything there is to know about dragons.."

We had been walking a long time through the woods. The trees here were defently old. They were very high and pretty wide.

Willow was really starting to feel better, it seemed like she was coming 'home'.
Aurora was looking around with big eyes. Well it was the first time she saw trees like this...

It was getting darker, was it evening or was it because the trees let less sunlight through it??

I was getting tired and wanted to rest. We stopped and made camp.
I couldnt stop thinking about Dragh. What i saw in my 'dream' didnt look very good.

I fell asleep.....

Suddenly, the ship stopped. it seemed to sway for a minute, then it crashed dowwards on its side. A huge maelstrom suddenly appeared, dragging the ship under.
For one secound it appeard as if somebody was going out the door, but it got dragged under too fast. The mast swung up high into the air one last time, and then it fell\, just plain fell straight into the middle.

I looked at it for one secound.
"Wow." I said, and my chief commander looked at me.
"Now what sir?" I frowned.
"I don't actually know. Lets go back to the town, see if anybody there knows anything. Or else I think the troops will have some fun in burning the place..."
The commander nodded, then we turned around and left, but when I turned around, I thought I saw, through the tree's, a young man holding a marble up to examine it. Weird...

[color:"#00cccc"] The night fell and everybody was asleep. Must get back to Beregond, I feel something is happening there.
So I took off in the night flying to Beregond to meet the others, I left the others a note saying what I was gonna do and that if they like they could meet me there. I also wrote that I felt something was gonna happen there or that something would get 'public' to us in relation to the quest.
I think they will follow me there... I HOPE they will
And I flew on. At this pase I'd get there in 1 hour, so the rest could get there by noon the following day... depending on how early they'd wake up

Deep in an ancient forest, a spring-fed stream emerges at the foot of an immense oak tree and winds its way through the tangled roots and rocks in search of the Great Sea. The tree is older than legend and it has a name given to it by the Nephalim, a name forgotten long before mortals roamed the world.

With the changing of the seasons, icy north winds are bringing down the clouds from the Archmont, the massive range of mountains bordering the Northlands. The clouds dip low into the forest canopy and fill them with a dense fog, burdening each leaf and limb with dew.

Amid the fog a tiny figure rides upon a billowing pillow cloud no bigger than an ox, and comes to land beside the spring. With a simple gesture the cloud is dismissed and the fog parts just enough for the newcomer to view the spring and the tree in one glance. After pausing for a moment to think, the figure sits down beside the spring and dangles his legs in the small pool that formed at the mouth of the spring.

Then, with a hiccup, he vanishes!

"Yearg orgio-upithy" An orc scowled as it roared. I looked at it.

"Silence!"

The orc, instead of obeying, which they usually do, roared again.

"Yearg ORGIO-upithy!" I turned, and hit it with the flat of my sword.
There was the boom of thunder, and I turned to see Kilereth, the head of the Blood Ring.

"Not very smart of you." He said, smiling.

"What do you mean, they are my troops!" I said, wondering why he was here.

"No, they are my troops. Upithy." He said, pointing at me. The orcs started to close in on me.

I pulled out my sword in one hand and shot a fireball at an orc with the other. It exploded, and hot flesh blew everywhere. I gulped as they drew swords and scimitars.

One rushed me, and I cut its arm off. I spun, catching two more unaware. But the rest came in...

The howl of pain and the flashs of lightning filled the night air, until with a loud BOOM of thunder, all the sounds stopped.

...and head to where??....
find Viper.... maybe head to the coast.....or just head for home...
....
A lot of miles, and a lot of thinking was to be done.......
Jurak headed off in the direction fo Beregrost,

leaving everything.......

...except the six-pack of Dwarven Ale, and a pillow.....

trying once again, to Define Infinity.... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif" alt="" />
