I was ready to go kill the black ring once more, when I placed my cursor over my damage numbers and read:"2 succesfull hits kills a normal lvl 49 ennemy" So I drank some strenght potions until this changed to:"1 succesfull hits kills a normal lvl 49 ennemy".
So I thought "What would happen if..." and I drank 20 strenght potions.
My damage went skyhigh and sure enough it now read:"0 succesfull hits kills a normal lvl 49 ennemy"
Quite funny.

Apparently the game truncates the result of the calculation, rather than rounding up to the nearest integer (which is close enough, most of the time).

And that's the point where the universe explodes and it all starts over. Until some game designer in the very far future decides to make the game calculate how many hits you need to kill your opponent. And then the universe explodes until some...

Read too much "Going Postal" by Terry Pratchett ? biggrin

In that book, it is discovered that Bloody Johnson invented a machine which bends the universe so that the number "pi" is exactly 3 ...

The Wizards adviced NOT to stop this macjhine, because stopping would let the universe "explode", so to say, but someone actually did it.

Afterwards, the wizards said that the world "was destroyed in one go and then rebuilt in one go", after the event.

To understand this "destroy the discworld in one go and the rebuild it in one go" better, one should - I think - read the "Thief of Time" before that ... The concept occurs there, too ... wink
