Years ago ATI was much better then Nvidia. Nvidia caught up quite a bit and is very good.

Everyone has their opinion. Until the recently released HD 4870 x2, nVidia has owned ATI for at least the last 3 years, and is only a matter of time until they leapfrog to the top again. Not to mention ATI driver support sucks now and always has...this from a guy that started with and preferred ATI for quite some time.

And overall, top to bottom, ATI DOES NOT usually do better with gaming. This has not been the case in quite some time.

You are semi-correct in your AMD/ATI and Intel/nVidia pairings. However, the more precise reasoning for the pairings is that AMD/ATI are and have been considered second tier in the mainstream for years. Therefore, Intel/nVidia pairings dominate the marketplace. AMD/ATI have tried to drum up a decent market share by pairing up in more affordable systems. Is no different than PC/MAC, Windows/OSX, etc. There is real and perceived performance differences and preferences.

Please don't just throw out information as gospel...for whatever reason it may be. frown

On a separate note: HEY Dev's...any chance we can get some more eye candy from the game soon????? Would be greatly appreciated!!!! biggrin thankyou biggrin
