Over the last few weeks I've been trying to find that config.div file; as I said, the only config file you mention is config.lcl and the enties in it are as follows:
CONFIG.LCL
width 800
height 600
game rate 40 fps
music 1
smooth 1
ztunnel 1
memory limit 32
use8bitfont 1
quickstart "on"
images compressed
flat files
language 1
However, I was looking at one of your earlier messages, in which you say:
Should have thought of this before, but if you have Windows Vista and installed the game to the default Program Files folder path, and depending on how you have your user accounts set up, Vista can create the savegames folder under the user data folder, and map that folder to where the game expects it to be when the game is started. Perhaps it did the same with the config.div file? Check for the file in the location;
C:\Users\{account name}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Divine Divinity\Run\config.div
In short, as I have said, it does not appear to exeist. HOWEVER that being said, there IS a file, config.div, but this is just the application for the Divine Divinty v1.1 video configuration utility and is NOT a text file! Do you think it may be an idea to modify the config.lcl file instead or should I leave it alone?
