Why would PC be a port anyway? :S
Can't believe some of you thought the PC version would be a port I've never known a PC game to be a port.

You may be missing the meaning...maybe not. Mass Effect and Assassin's Creed were both "ported" from console to PC, e.g. originally console games converted to PC games. It is my understanding that D2 is being simultaneously developed for PC and console, but it is a PC game in origin. MacBeth, Lynn...can you chime in and confirm or not?
Yes but they were released at different times.
Both versions of Divinity 2 are going to be released around the same time of each other.
That wasn't what you said tho bro. Was the only reason I called your attention to known ported games. I assume, as you do, that different versions of D2 will be released at the same time. But they are being developed together, even though my guess is the heart of the game is derived from the PC version.
DA:O is doing the same thing...now. Originally there wasn't going to be a console version, then there was, but released later, now the PC has been delayed to coincide with console luanch. Still a PC game originally though.
