PC only - I avoid consoles like the plague since:
- you can only run what the console makers allow you to run (unless you have your console modified);
- you have less control over what the console is doing, especially when online, compared to a PC (i.e. on a PC you can use firewalls and packet sniffers to monitor or block network traffic, which can be critical in preserving online privacy);
- console software is more expensive, even if the hardware is cheaper, and software is usually the bigger investment over time;
- input (controllers) and output (graphics) options are more limited on a console - this also tends to affect cross-platform games where the PC version ends up "dumbed down" to accommodate console limitations;
- XBox360 specific - the cooling fan whine is annoying as heck;
- PS3 specific - I wouldn't trust Sony any further than I could through them given their past consumer-exploitative habits (Sony BMG rootkit anyone?).
My second-biggest concern about Ego Draconis is what compromises Larian are going to make on the PC side (simplified graphics and controls, BIG TEXT ONSCREEN, etc) to keep in step with console limitations - it is possible to make totally separate versions but far more expensive in development time.
