Larian has not gone into any detail describing the dragon (technically a wyvern) form, though there are a fair number of screenshots showing the dragon. I didn't notice any distinctive features that could indicate a gender difference (like size, shape or colour), but then I wasn't looking for that, either. I think the only videos showing the transformation have been with a male character.
I don't know if the main plotline can lead to different endings, but there are many paths through various quests (some quests have up to a couple dozen possible solutions). The quests were not designed with stereotypical good and evil options; there are just choices, which have consequences that may or may not be obvious.
Most of the recent previews of the game (such as at
Gamespot) at least mention a few practical examples of the quest options from the start of the game. There is also an old forum topic that is more on the theory of design than the game itself:
Moral dilemma's in RPGs.
The last time someone asked about the minimum specs for the game Larian was still testing various configurations. Presumably if the game can take advantage of dual core processors that will be mentioned with the minimum and recommended system requirements (which should be available on or before the German release).
