A customer ran into this problem, but the above mentioned solutions didn't help him.
Did anybody run into this issue too?

Here's his reply after trying the above:

I looked for the file and found: there was no file dialogfolder.dir in the directory C:\Programme\Larian Studios\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act4\DialogFemale and therefore I have copied the file from C:\Programme\Larian Studios\Beyond Divinity\Acts\Act3\DialogFemale to the directory of act4. But this solved not the problem.

I tried to load the score form act4 --> result crash; then I load the last score from act3 - successful - and stored the score after entering act4. Then I tried to load this stored score -> result crash.

The failure message pointed again to :

AppName: div.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.0 ModName: div.exe ModVer: 1.0.0.0 Offset: 00340ae0

The customer is playing with the german version 1.470 from the "golden divinity" disk.
