Divinity 2 uses a classes based system.
You can be anything or everything you want to be.
I keep hearing this, and it's technically true, but if you don't specialize in one or the other( or at least 2/3-1/3, 3/4-1/4), I would be willing to bet that your effectiveness goes down. Sure, you can play middle of the road and even out stats across the board, but some folks like pure melee, some pure mage, etc. I would hope you would have to strategize differently for each different build to have relative success throughout the game. And I think that what Lightning was asking is it reccommended to play more as mage(spells) or a melee(close combat) or a ranger(bow and arrow) kinda character.
What is the OPs opinion of which build type would be more successful?
