1. Gems and ore are required to enchant (Bezaubern) equipment.
Items have two different slots. "Veredelung" where you put in pre made +X items and "Bezauberung" where you can add enchantments.
Aaah. I take it you need another person to do this? The same way you make potions?

it helped me a lot. Nearly all these questions are because I got such a limited space and no way to store my items yet.
