Starting Divinity II only starts one process: divinity2.exe

It could be that something is stopping SecuROM in its tracks. Maybe the DVD drive, but I doubt that, or maybe another process. If you're an advanced Windows user and you know your background applications, try stopping/exiting or even killing some processes that are running. Sometimes SecuROM detects some of those and doesn't want to start cause it thinks you're trying something funny

Only diffrence is that the CPU is one 2-3%, not 100% ^^

But anyway, I will try it. I will kill everything which is not needed to run windows. Hope it works.

Hi geplagte Divinity 2 Spieler,

ich hatte das gleiche Problem wie viele hier im Forum.
Auch die Installation des neuesten Catalysten und der neuesten Physix-Treiber löste mein Problem nicht.

Jetzt geht das Spiel aber. Bei mir war das über USB angebundene ---> Mobile-Breitband-Modem <--- Schuld! Kaum zu glauben. Aber seit dem ich es abgesteckt habe, läuft das Spiel.

Meine Konfiguration:
Athlon 64 X2 4800+
Nvidia 570 SLI Chipsatz (neuester Treiber)
Radeon HD 2600 Pro (Catalyst 9.7)
Physix (Treiber von der CD)

Sorry aber kann mir das mal wer übersetzten was Forktong und Everfades da quatschen mein englisch war damals in der schule schon nicht sehr besonders^^

das klingt nämlich so nach einer lösung die bei mir klappen könnte^^

@ Winterleyd, wir sind noch am Fachsimpeln. Da dieser Thread jedoch nicht nur den der deutschen Sprache mächtigen Leuten helfen soll, bevorzugen wir die Engisch Sprache. ^^

Ich werde mal, bis die netten Leute von SecuROM mein Log durchforstet haben, ein wenig mit der Registry rumspielen^^. Keine Sorge, ich weiß was ich mache, ist nur etwas Zeitaufwendig das Ganze, vorallem da ich jetzt wieder alles auf meinem PC drauf habe was vor dem neuaufspielen von Windows drauf war. (ich sag nur: 93 installierte Programme und 812 GB belegt^^)

SecuROM hat mir jetzt zumindest schonmal geschrieben dass sie sich das Problem ansehen werden, naja, muss wohl warten, der gute Herr der mir die Rückmeldung geschrieben hat sagte er hat jetzt Feierabend schaut es sich aber gleich morgen früh an. Naja, Smalltalk kann nicht schaden, solange unsere Probleme damit gelöst werden bin ich glücklich^^.

ROFL, ja toller Spielspass im Moment. Und helfen könnt Ihr auch nicht ohne DVD Crack.Für uns die euer Spiel für viel Geld gekauft haben, iss die einzige Rettung eine der Releasegruppen die einen rausbringen, egal ob Ihr was zu dem Thema hier hören wollt.

As you can see, we are currently on it. I try what I can to get the game working and get fast and intelligent replys and new ideas which I try too from ForkTong. They aren't the persons who are sitting in front of our monitors and can see the problem directly. At least ForkTong trys to help out and gives us/me new probably ways to a solution. That's all we/I need to find an answer to the problem.

Currently my startinglog is watched by secuROM, maybe they find a solution, then I myself try to search for an registry error. We already tried out: All the driver problems, like PhysX, etc., some Hardwareissues, like the creative soundcard and a few smaller things which didn't work, too.

And on top of that, when the problem is NOT caused by secuROM then a Crack won't help you! A crack only evades the protection of a game. When the problem ISN'T caused by the protection (here secuROM) the crack won't help you at all.

When you are pissed and you realy think that a crack could help you, farewell. Maybe it's the secuROM protection, maybe not, WE try everything which could bring a solution and YOU don't make ANYTHING to help ANYONE! Soon we will know if a crack COULD fix the problem. But we search for DIFFRENT solutions, BETTER ones.

Okay, the SecuROM support team said that my Log file is corrupted. (tried it 2 times)
So they sended me an email which says that I should collect some Logfiles from other people with the same problem and send them all to the same ticket I have so they can check if we have the same problem. So please, to all people with the starting Divinity 2 problem, create a log like in this tutorial:

then put it into an archiv (like .rar) and upload it somewhere (for example uploaded.to or megaupload.com) and post the link in this thread.

I will check in 12 hours again and will send all the logs toghether with the ticket SecuROM gave me.

Das Securom Supportteam hat mir berichtet, dass mein Log file anscheinend immer defekt sei. Deshalb haben sie mich aufgefordert, dass die anderen User die das selbe Problem haben (Divinity 2 startet nicht, man kann nichts mehr machen, der Prozess Divinity2.exe ist vorhanden aber lässt sich nicht killen) auch Logfiles erstellen sollen und es mir geben, damit ich es mit dem Ticket welches ich von ihnen habe, via Email an sie senden kann.

Das ist die deutsche Version der Anleitung. Ein Video wie das geht ist auch dabei. Bitte das Logfile anschließend in ein Archiv packen (z.B. .rar) und dann irgendwo hochladen (uploaded.to , megaupload.com , etc.) und anschließend den Link dazu hier in diesen Thread posten.

Ich werde in 12 Stunden nocheinmal vorbeischauen und alle Logfiles die ihr bis dahin gesendet habt sammeln und abschicken.


Ich bitte alle die dieses Problem gelöst haben wollen ein Logfile zu machen, danke.

wenn man "Analyse starten" klickt passiert genau das selbe als würde man das spiel starten
--> Prozess erscheint, nix geht mehr, ...

dann hab ich mal mein internet (UMTS-Adapter von 3/USB-Anschluss) ausgesteckt und ... OMG ... konnte die Analyse-datei erstellen und auch das spiel starten

Okay guys, it's an hardwareproblem. Tested it,too. It happens with some lan/wirelesslan cards (or the drivers from them) and many external lan/wireleslancards. Just disable them in the system many and everything should work fun. You don't have internet, but you wanna play :P. Have fun^^.

Liegt anscheinend an hardware. Einfach mal lan/wirelesslankarte in systemsteuerung ausschalten udn externe USB dinger rausziehen. Bei mir und einigen andernen gehts anscheinend. Wenn es nicht gehen sollte mal bei securom an den support euer Logfile posten, viel spaß^^.

Maybe Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% or any other emulation software makes Trouble. Securom is a little bit sensitive with emulation software!

Indeed, disable stuff like DaemonTools. If you don't have that, you have to create an analysis file and send it to Securom to know what application is causing the error. Check these to know how to:

daemontools or alcohol i have not in use, I had installed CDBurner which I removed.
The answer I got from secuROM was the same as everfades got - corrupted AnalysisLog! So I send them a new one.

DaemonTools oder Alcohol benutze ich nicht, ich hatte CDBurner installiert (nutze die gleichen Dateien), hab's gelöscht.
Die Antwort die ich von secuROM erhalten habe ist dieselbe die auch Everfades erhalten hat:
"Leider ist die von Ihnen gesendete Analyse-Datei defekt. Daher bitte ich Sie, uns eine neue Datei zukommen zu lassen." Also habe ich secuROM eine neue Datei geschickt.

Hofffentlich melden die sich morgen wieder!

HM hab mal die externe und den W-lan usb stick raus genommen..die einzige externe hardware die ich dran habe...leider nicht geklapt und der vorschlag von scureROM kann ich leider auch nicht in anspruch nehmen weil ich diese "launch analysis" funktion nicht habe wenn ich auf das icon rechts klicke...
