Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks SPOILER - Is the down the hatch quest bugged?

Hi,
I have found Orobas corpse in the catacombs but I can't tell Jedediah about it.
All he says is 'Where is Orobas, is he not with you' and all I can say to him is goodbye.
Is the quest bugged or have I missed something?
