I just didn't know how to further investigate. Sorry. I postet the error message given by windows, and as said:
There is absolutely NO thing I didn't try, which was posted in this whole forum.
The drivers / software came with the DVD and also the game itself were deinstalled / installed at least 3 times. Also all the drivers for my hardware were updated.
look: my point is just that I can't imagine it is a hardware problem because there is NO! repeat: NO problem in any other part of the game.
I read through this forum, there are problems with the equip menue, saving menue, conversation loading and a lot of other stuff - varity of problems and error message is a indicator for lousy work - in my opinion.
Hardware problems usually indicate thereself by not running the gaming proper, not starting, major graphical or audio problems which make the game unplayable etc etc. I had loads of other hardware problems in my gaming live and whenever one appeared - on the first look I knew:
AHA! This is because of my lousy graphic card.
or whatev.
But: I'm still really interessted in playing the game, so If you give me an advice on how to tackle this problem or how to help you helping me, just let me know.
