I'm right-handed, so that seems to explain my problems with the combat interface. Normally it is my right hand that does all the "button mashing" and the left one that makes the character move.
It is most likely why I cast wrong spells and stuff in mmorpg's using the F1-F10 keys lol. I'd probably use the number pad to set up the hot keys if I was allowed to.
As for character movement, I'm used to having to hold a button down (like the R-button on a play station controller) to strife or walk backwards. And if I didn't, would (and do) expect to run left, right or retreat and this is where I end up dieing. Talk about video game culture shock...
